London via Brighton and Iceland trailblazers Dream Wife have a talent for mixing nasty and nice. Their newest single 'Fire' is proof of that, featuring scratchy guitar lines, thudding bass and super catchy vocals with an undeniable punk-rock attitude. It's hard to pigeonhole these girls with their notoriously ferocious live shows and their edgy but somehow extremely radio-friendly singles, which continue to impress. Talking about the track the band explain, "As a trio of fire symbols (Sagittarius/Sagittarius/Leo), we play with the inherent multiple meanings in our binding element, be that symbolic, metaphoric or physical. It's a song of explosive emotion: volcanic, eruptive, and reflective in turn. During moments of pure connection, a bolt of fire can be felt between people. The explosion begins; movement is electric, conversation erratic, and you become fully immersed in the moment."
